    Founding Engineer

Flywheel runs content and outbound as one system, powered by always-on AI agents. We're hiring a founding engineer who operates like a co-founder to own large surface areas of the product and make architecture calls that pay off for years.

    About the job

Flywheel is the AI growth engine for B2B. We run content and outbound as one system: publish content, mine the engagement for real buyers, and reach out while your name is still warm in their feed.

A team of always-on agents does the work, research, ideation, writing, QA, and lead qualification, so a small team can run go-to-market like a much larger one. We run in production today with customers who feel it in their pipeline.

    The role

We're looking for a founding engineer who thinks and operates like a co-founder. Someone who understands what we're building, why it matters, and can make high-quality technical calls without waiting for direction.

You'll own large surface areas of the product and infrastructure. You'll ship fast. You'll make architectural choices that pay off for years. The expectation isn't to write every line yourself, it's to make the right calls on what gets built, how, and why.

    What you'll work on

    • Agent architecture and orchestration across the multi-agent system (research, ideation, writing, QA) and the shared framework new agents are built on
    • Multi-model routing across Anthropic, Perplexity, and OpenRouter, picking the right model per task and holding quality as models change under us
    • The leads engine: mining engagement for buyers, enrichment, classification, and the analytics that tell customers who to reach out to and when
    • Real-time streaming over WebSockets, so customers watch agents think and produce live
    • The data layer (Supabase Postgres + pgvector, content ingestion, scraping pipelines) that powers research and inspiration
    • The integrations layer: LinkedIn and social posting, monitored sources, analytics providers, and the publishing pipeline

    What we're looking for

    • Builder mindset. You've shipped real products, not just features. You've made hard tradeoffs with incomplete information and lived with the consequences.
    • AI-native workflow. You use AI coding agents every day, and understand prompt engineering, context management, and running multiple agent instances in parallel.
    • Taste over volume. We care more about architecture, system design, and judgment than lines of code.
    • Full-stack fluency. Real experience across the stack: React and TypeScript on the front, Node and Postgres on the back, LLM APIs throughout.
    • High agency. You enjoy a high level of autonomy and know how to use it.

    Why now

Early, with customers in production and a market actively reorganizing around AI. You'll be one of the first full-time hires, which means you shape the architecture, the culture, and the company, not just the tickets. The founding equity reflects that.

Remote in a compatible timezone, or wherever you do your best work.

    How to apply

Send us the most interesting thing you've built. A link to a live project, a repo, or a short demo says more than a cover letter. Tell us what you made, why, and what you'd have done differently.

    We read everything from builders.
